Northern Star and 480 Kainga proposed changes

Over the past few months we've been asking people to tell us what they think about these existing services:   

• 90 Rangiora (direct)
• 92 Rangiora (via Woodend and Waikuku)
• 912 Woodend Shuttle
• 913 Woodend Shuttle (via Waikuku)
• 480 Kainga

From this feedback, we have proposed some changes to the existing services. These changes have not been finalised - we need your feedback before any final decisions are made. All responses received by Friday 01 October 2010 will go into the draw to win one of ten $30 Metrocard Top-Up Vouchers.

Environmental Flow & Water Allocation Regional Plans and Variations to the NRRP

Proposed Pareora Catchment Environmental Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan and Variation 18 to the Proposed Natural Resources Regional Plan

The Proposed Pareora Catchment Environmental Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan (the Proposed Pareora Plan) have been notified on 7 August 2010, along with Variation 18 to the Proposed Natural Resources Regional Plan. Submissions for the Proposed Pareora Plan close on Friday 1 October 2010, and submissions for Variation 18 close on 3 September 2010.

Proposed Waipara Catchment Environmental Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan and Variation 17 to the Proposed Natural Resources Regional Plan

The summary of decisions requested on both the Proposed Waipara Catchment Environment Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan and Variation 17 to the Natural Resources Regional Plan have been notified on the 7th August 2010 for further submissions. Further submissions in support of, or in opposition to, those submissions already made, closed on 20 August 2010.

Publicly Notified Consents

Notification of applications for Resource Consent under Section 93(2) or 94C of the Resource Management Act 1991.

When a resource consent is received by Environment Canterbury, the Council conducts an assessment of its environmental effects. If the environmental effects are more than minor, the resource consent requires a public notification under Section 93(1) of the Resource Management Act 1991.

All publicly notified resource consents are listed under the News and Notices section and homepage of this website. On the Public Notices page, there is a page for each public notice and at the base of each public notice page is a link to a submission form for public use.
